Dr Weigner received his Doctorate from Life University in 2003. He is a National Board certified Chiropractor, A certified Clinical Electromyographer, a certified Decompression Practitioner, and certified with a specialized study in Physiological Therapeutics. Dr. Weigner has extensive post education in the rehabilitation of spinal and extremity injuries, and specializes in Neuropathies, Fibromyalgia, and Weight Loss.
Dr. Kashurba received her Bachelor of Science from Ursinus College and her Doctorate from The Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. With board certifications from the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine, and 30 years of experience, Dr. Kashurba brings vast knowledge and new perspective to the practice of Integrated Healthcare. Dr Lloyd received his Doctorate from Howard University College of Medicine in 1990. Dr. Lloyd completed his internship and residency at Howard University Hospital. In addition, Dr Lloyd has completed fellowships in Diagnostic and Interventional Neuroradiology from University of Maryland Medical Systems and an IRTA Fellowship National Eye Institute/National Institutes of Health. Dr Lloyd has been in the healthcare field for over 25 years.
Dr. Casey Mae Fouse, a native of Pittsburgh, PA, is a board certified, licensed Chiropractic Physician who is experienced in a myriad of chiropractic techniques and physiotherapeutic modalities. Dr. Fouse, a Summa Cum Laude graduate, obtained her Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from LUCC, Marietta, GA; she is also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from University of Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Fouse is a member of the PI Tau Delta Chiropractic Honor Society and has served as a volunteer chiropractic representative through Spinal Missions in El Salvador. Dr. Fouse I a very knowledgeable practitioner who places great emphasis on whole-health wellness, patient education and chiropractic biophysics. Away from the office, Dr. Fouse enjoys exercising and training for marathons.
Dr. Sebastian is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy and graduated from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in 2018. He has worked with collegiate level and professional athletes in core rehabilitation, as well as earned certifications in McKenzie and Maitland therapy which utilize joint mobilizations and muscle imbalances to improve function. Dr. Jaison believes in utilizing a whole body approach when rehabilitating his clients looking at the large picture and focusing on functional movement patterns. In his free time, he is an avid Philadelphia sports fanatic, does personal training, and enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
Although Mary Michael’s title may be Stem Cell Coordinator, she’s much more. In most cases, Mary is the first person patients speak to when they inquire about our Stem Cell procedure. Mary’s melodic voice (a classically trained piano and voice coach) is present throughout the entire process. From the initial seminar through the consultation, procedure, and aftercare…Mary is there to ensure the best possible outcome for each patient. In addition to Stem Cell Coordinator, Mary supports other initiatives including New Patients Workshops, In-House Events, and just about any other social event Discover Optimal Healthcare hosts. Mary was born and raised in Delaware County, educated at Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA) and resides in the area with her two teenage daughters. Go Red Raiders!
Amber, a native of Delaware County, has been member of the Discover Optimal Healthcare family since 2015. Amber’s mission is to ensure that each patient receives the highest quality of care available from the team. Each morning she reviews the patients schedule with the entire staff to confirm each member has the most up to date patient information. And throughout the day she reviews, tracks, and confirms accuracy of patient charts. Amber believes that keeping the lines of communication between patients and the team is critical to patient success. When not helping patients, Amber is a true Philadelphia Eagles fan, and we’d expect nothing less from a DELCO girl!
Andrea is a bilingual general surgeon from Venezuela. (Andrea does not currently have her surgical license for the U.S. as of yet.) She has received her U.S. certification in Phlebotomy (healthcare professional who draws blood) and her Medical Assistant certification. After graduating from medical school in Venezuela, Andrea worked as a Gynecologist Physician Assistant for 1 year and then a surgeon for 3 years in her home country. She is also certificated in CPR/AED/BLS by the American Heart Association. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her 2 year old daughter.
Cassidy has been with Discover Optimal Healthcare for a little over a year now. Over that time she has worked as a Medical Assistant in the Medical and Chiropractic departments plus as a Lipo-Light Technician and the DME (Durable Medical Equipment) Coordinator. Most recently, Cassidy has transitioned to the Front Desk Liaison postion and Pharmacy Coordinator. Cassidy is a graduate of Interboro High School and is currently working towards a degree in the medical field at Delaware County Community College. She resides with her mother, sister, and dog Jaeger in Glenolden. Her leisure time is weekends at the shore, time family & friends, and a baseball and football fan.
Kristen (aka Zory) is a transplant from the Chicago-land region. She moved to the Philly area to study, fell in love with, and never left. Kristen received her PTA degree from Pennsylvania Institute of Technology where she was student body president and continues to tutor the current as well as future classes of PTA students. She loves helping people and truly cares about each one of her patients. In the future, she plans on returning to school to get her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Kristen’s education goes the beyond physical therapy scope, she also has a BS in Education as well as a Masters in Human Sexuality Education. In her private time, she enjoys watching Disney movies, playing board games, learning new things, and cuddling with her dog. As a side note, Kristen is a Green Bay Packers fan….yep, she’s a cheesehead.
Counselor Lucie Vogel is the newest addition to the Discover Optimal Healthcare team. Lucie joins us as our Nutrition & Weight Loss Counselor and is a graduate of West Chester University with a BS in nutrition and psychology. Lucie excels at guiding and motivating patients to achieve their weight loss goals.
Native of Delaware County, Nicole graduated from West Chester University with a BS in Nutrition and Dietetics. Currently, Nicole is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Clinical Nutrition at Immaculata University. Nicole has a strong passion for nutrition, wellness, and fitness and loves to help, motivate, and counsel people towards achieving their weight loss goals. When not at work, Nicole enjoys going to the gym, watching the 76ers, and going to the beach in the summer.
Crystal attended the University of Pittsburgh where she received her Associate’s Degree of Science in Nursing, Temple University for her Bachelors of Science in Nursing, and Villanova University where she earned her Masters of Science in Nursing. She has Advanced Injection Training Certification in trigger point injections, joint injections, and regenerative medicine. Crystal incorporates complementary and alternative medicine, in conjunction with traditional medicine which makes her a great fit. The integrative pain management and preventative medicine model at Discover Optimal Healthcare is part of the reason Crystal was drawn to the practice. In addition, promoting weight loss, proper nutrition and fitness are important and exciting for her and she does well at motivating patients to live a healthier lifestyle. Crystal provides broad examinations and looks at all aspects of patient health. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband, Kevin, her two dogs and three cats (all of whom were rescue shelter animals.)
